These are some great thoughts. I forwarded the post to my friends who work in healthcare. It is also reassuring to hear that dissent and vibrant ideas still thrive within the DNC's innovation of governance by soiree.

This is a refreshing positive look at what is working practically and where the industry is developing outside the traditional realm of clinical expertise and knowledge. The emphasis on partnering with consumers to empower them is maybe the final frontier that we in the nursing profession have practiced for a long time. Education of the consumer and providing the tools they need to make educated and informed decisions and the continued communication that is needed to create a sense of understanding and ownership of one's health. Great top 10. Thanks so much.

Bravo for taking a best practices approach! If something works, let's build on it and make it better -- especially in the area rare diseases, for which the U.S. is the leader in innovation. That's too precious of a baby to throw out with the bathwater.
